We are learning about 'Under the Sea'. As I am a big fan of turtles, I have planned out a turtle craft for the children to make. This is a very simple craft made from egg cartons.
What you need:
- Egg carton (cut out as many as you wish to make, each 'cup' is to make a turtle's shell)
- Green card or Green Foam (cut into the shape of a turtle; alternatively you can use a white card and children can paint it green)
- Some beans
- Glue
- Green and Yellow Paint
- Black marker to draw eyes
Once you have painted the 'shell' green, use fingers to dab some yellow paint on it. When dry, fill the 'shell' with some beans. Then glue on the turtle shape card. And there, a cute little turtle music shaker!
